Overview
The hugr is a component of the Norse Heathen concept of the multipart soul. It represents our mind, our personality, our faculties of thought, our emotional composition, our heartedness, and all the different processes of our consciousness, including processes we aren’t aware of. We feel our hugr strongest whenever we feel most like ourselves, which extends beyond the ego of our current lives. Our hugr is a field of consciousness that wears the skin of hamr to walk through life, and it can operate outside our bodies and our awareness.
