Overview

Thor is the son of Odin, a thunder-god who wields a burning-hot hammer called mjolnir. He uses this hammer to fight off thurs, the hostile giants that seek to bring chaos to Midgard, the world of humans. Thor is depicted as a giant man with bristling red hair, burning eyes, and a quick temper. He drives a chariot pulled by two goats, and personifies thunderstorms rolling across the landscape.
